首战就踢中国队！卫报：托尼-波波维奇将出任澳大利亚男足主帅

09月22日讯 《卫报》消息，托尼-波波维奇将出任澳大利亚男足国家队主教练。

澳大利亚队在9月的世预赛18强赛0-1不敌巴林，0-0战平印度尼西亚，带队六年的主帅阿诺德在9月20日辞职。

波波维奇预计将于明天正式上任，目前他正讨论想在国家队配备的其他成员。

51岁的波波维奇是悉尼人，球员时期司职中后卫，曾随澳大利亚队参加2006年世界杯。退役后波波维奇曾执教西悉尼流浪者、珀斯光荣、墨尔本胜利等球队，2014年他带领西悉尼流浪者成为首支赢得亚冠冠军的澳大利亚球队。

10月10日，波波维奇将迎来上任后的首场比赛，主场迎战中国男足。
